The 4th semester project was about social housing
with commercial unit located in Lisbjergvej. The
client’s requirements were to build a 4-5 storey
building with the uppermost storey as penthouse
residences with lightweight construction.
Another client’s wish was to make a usage
building, where small storages ( approx. 2m2)
will be placed for each apartment in the
building. If it is possible on the ground floor,
client would like to have some youth apartments
for the students and 2 handicap apartments
( 90 m2, 110 m2). The apartments have to be 2
room apartments, with a gross area about 90 m2,
and 3 room apartments with a gross area about
110 m2.Each apartment should have a balcony/
terrace, kitchen, bathroom and closet. The
commercial unit should be 200 m2. The total area
for the whole building should be round 7600 m2.
Another client’s wish was that the main façade
should be made out of brick. Load-bearing walls
and floor decks should be made of prefabricated
concrete elements. Stairs, landings and
balconies should be made out of prefabricated
concrete. The penthouse should be made of lightweight
construction.
The building had to be designed as a low-energy
building class 2015 according to BR10. The
temperature in the apartments should be 21
degree Celsius. Mechanical ventilation should
be used in the building with heat recovery in
apartments (The commercial unit should have
separate ventilation system). The total costs
must not exceed (2015 amount) DKK 19110 incl.
VAT per m2, but excluding various allowances.
